Har vi en forræder i blandt os .......... / Do we have a traitor among us ........

In English: Do we have a traitor among us.....

you can say so.

Vaks likes running away. He has found a place in the fence (which my mom and dad definitely have not yet found) where he can get out.

Then he runs down to the neighbor's dung mongrels. Traitor. For he has actually become good friends with them now. The neighbor says it does'nt matter, Vaks runs down the road to them. The neighbor's dogs run all the time to our garden, so the position is actually 1-1.

I need to tell you that we live in the countryside looong out of a dirt road, so it is not dangerous when Vaks runs, more annoying.

Vaks is running fast and mom is running after him with his leash and a bag of treats.
Mom knows she has to tell him to sit down, because when she says that, he obeys. She curses and swear a little bit when she runs towards him.
She also knows that she shall not scold him, because then she would not get hold of him the next time he runs. So she carries him home while she is cursing and swearing with a sugared voice.
Vaks does'nt care. He got a treat because he was so good to sit down.

Mom think  she probably found where he comes out through the fence. So now the hole is stopped ...... she hopes.

That was a big mischief from Vaks, I think.

  1. Oh, Vaks! You got a treat for running away? Good job, smart dog! :) Stay safe, though, and play in your own yard!

    1. Vaks got a treat because he likes the sound of the treatbag. When he hear that he stay put and mom can take him. Otherwise I don't think he will wait for her to get him LOL :-)

  2. That's a perfect kind of mischief: running away, then playing Chase Me with Mom, then treats afterward! Plus you help Mom expand her vocabulary, with new swear words. Good job

Ok, so first I had to look up Hi-Yu parade, because I had no clue what it was. That's where I learned that the Hi Yu parade (and festival) is an event that supports West Seattle's service organizations, like the American Legion, Kiwanis, Rotary. I also learned that Hi-Yu comes from the Chinook word for "plenty."

And there must have been plenty for Leo to look at! And plenty of people to look at Leo.

My favorite pic? The one where the flag looks like Leo's crest!

  3. My mom would have heart failure if we got out of our yard. We would be on a sniff tour for hours and there are lots of roads around that would be dangerous too. Hope your hole is plugged so you will stay at home.

    1. Luckily we live in very safe place with almost 1000 meter to the nearest road. Mom think that she found the hole where Vaks ran out. She had stopped it, and he has been in our garden since. She cross her fingers :-)

  4. Hope you've got that fence fixed! Rudy sometimes sails over our fence and I pretty much go crazy. Thankfully as soon as he's on the other side he sits there and waits to be rescued.

    1. That's so fine he waits to be rescued he he. Mom thinks she found the hole where Vaks ran out, and she has stopped it now. Vaks has been in our garden all day - today - so hopefully it was the right hole she stopped LOL.

  5. We to hope the fence gets fixed and poor mum doesn't have to go after Vaks again. Her poor back. At least it is not a busy road. Have a marvellous Monday.
    Best wishes Molly

    1. It's fine it's not me she has to carry, because my weight is 36 kg, but Vaks only weigh 12 kg, so he is not so heavy :-)
