Rejsen til Tyskland 2 / The travel to Germany 2

In English down below.

Mums jeg kunne godt have deltaget her.
Stakkels mig.

In English.

The next day after mom, dad and grandma arrived to Germany, they would take a drive to see the area. They wanted to take a trip to the town Tönning located on the River Eider. Eider was once the border between Denmark and Germany, but was lost in the war of 1864 between Denmark and Germany. So now the border is much further north.

Tönning is a beautiful old city. I would have enjoyed walking around the square.
It was nicely decorated on the occasion of Easter.
They have decorated the old well with Easter eggs.
The city is located next to the river Eider.
It lies behind the dikes and large dike gates.
It is these dike ports which can be closed in case of storm.
My peeps ended this lovely day with a large American Schnitzel (so the restaurant called it)  and fried potatoes. Nom I could have taken part in this.
And 3 large glass of foaming beer. This I wouldn't like. I'm not into beer, yak.
Yes, another day where I missed everything!!! Poor me.
