And what did I wonder about. I'll tell you. I wonder about Vaks. Yes you read that right. Vaks. Mom thought he would tremble from fear on New Year's Eve. She had even talked to the vet and bought such a CD with the sounds of fireworks, thunder and shot noises so he could get used to the sounds.
He didn't care at all when he heard the CD, but normally he is really afraid of thunderstorms. He can hear the slightest rumble before Mom and Dad can even hear anything. Vaks who is usually so afraid of sounds, was not in the least afraid on New Year's Eve. He looked out the window and barked with me of all the light we could see in the sky, far away.
Vi nød at kigge på fyrværkeriet. We enjoyed all the firevork. |
For mor skal bare begynde at klø sin næse fordi hun skal nyse, så .... Because Mom just have to scratch her nose because she's going to sneeze, then.... |
I wonder if it ever is getting better???
Our Little Bit hates fireworks and sneezing too. Hates it. We keep her contained when there's going to be fireworks. Bless their hearts. Then there is the sneezing.
SvarSletHave a woof woof day you two. My best to your wonderful peeps. ☺
The sneezing is the worst LOL.
SletYou know what was weird? We heard fireworks on New Year's Eve, twice. Yeah, TWICE. They had 'em at midnight but around nine o'clock, they had 'em then, too. I don't care for fireworks at all 'cause they're super scary but if you're gonna have 'em on New Year's Eve, they're supposed to done at midnight. Not three hours too early. I think it's weird. Don't you?
SvarSletPurrs,
Nissy
I think it's because of the children. Here in Denmark many children can't keep awake to twelwe o'clock and they want to see all the fireworks so their parents often do the fireworks at nine o'clock and then again at midnight.
SletCrikey ...... that's weird!!! Have you had his hearing checked lately????? Maybe he's gone deaf or something!!!!!
SvarSletHehe we havn't checked his ears, and he is a elderly dog at 8 years, so maybe we should LOL.
SletBOL those loud noises scare us. We scream
SvarSletLily & Edward
Oh I'm sorry for you.
SletWe are scared of thunder and fireworks. It's scary when Dad sneezes real loud too, or yells at the football game on TV. And whenever he has power tools in his hand. We wish Miss Ginger was still with us. She was never scared of anything!
SvarSletI'm not scared of anything either. Not sneezing, not fireworks, not power tools or thunder.... Oh I forgot I'm a little scared of mom's hairdryer. Just a tiny little bit scared LOL.
SletLuckily the rain kept fireworks to a minimum this year. Bentley still wore his ThunderShirt and Pierre still barked at the ones we did hear. A teacher that I used to work with was a "Screamer" sneezer. She would scare me half to death every time she sneezed. Hahaha! Happy New Year ☺
SvarSletMom says she doesn't hope she is a "Screamer sneezer" but maybe Vaks think she is LOL.
Sletoh bless him, that must've been quite a sneeze!
SvarSletHe he thanx.
SletWhat a good boy to not be afraid of the fireworks. Some of the dogs that lived here were very afraid of fireworks and lightning and thunder. Love your drawings. Well done. You all have a great day.
SvarSletHmmmm interesting! Not sure why!
